North Bay Business Journal’s fourth annual Community Philanthropy Awards recognize local companies and individuals who support communities in a variety of ways, from monetary contributions, volunteering time or participating in events.

Twenty-three honorees were selected this year.

The awards will be given out at a Business Journal event in March and the honorees profiled in the March 27 edition of the Journal.

The honors to be awarded include the Frank P. Doyle Philanthropy Award, recognizing local businesses and their leaders who meet critical community needs. The award is named in honor of the co-founder of Exchange Bank, underwriter of the Community Philanthropy Awards.
